Barcelona’s Pep Guardiola: Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo Is Enormously Dangerous
12 April 2010
Saturday saw Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo fail to impose himself against Barcelona for yet another time. But he still received positive comments from Barcelona’s coach Pep Guardiola after El Clasico which Los Blancos lost 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Guardiola revealed that his side had singled out Cristiano Ronaldo as a threat and therefore created a game plan to deprive the 25-year-old Portuguese winger from influencing Real Madrid’s play.
The Barca boss explained:
“Cristiano Ronaldo is enormously talented and strong. We tried to isolate him and keep him away from the game,
“He’s very dangerous when we have the ball because if we lose it, he’ll find it very quickly and he’s hard to stop then. Just because he hasn’t not scored against us yet does not mean that he is not a very good player.”
What do you think about Pep Guardiola’s comments on Cristiano Ronaldo?
