Cristiano Ronaldo Is Top No.1 Most Popular Sports Star On Facebook With Most Fans

Cristiano Ronaldo is Facebook’s most popular sports star as he gathers the biggest number of fans ahead of tennis star Roger Federer and swimmer Michael Phelps.

Last year, Cristiano Ronaldo came just behind US President Barak Obama as the most popular person on Facebook.

In 2010, Cristiano Ronaldo can comfort himself against hostile anti-Ronaldo threats with some love on Facebook.

According to Spanish paper Marca, the Real Madrid star has 3.2 million fans on Facebook compared to Roger Federer’s 3.18 million fans and the United States’ swimmer and record breaker Michael Phelps who counts 2.86 million supporters.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s popularity hasn’t stopped growing since his transfer from Manchester United to the Santiago Bernabeu in Real Madrid.

Ronaldo is also expected to be the first football to break the USA’s market sooner or later.
