It's is just a matter of time
6 October 2008We fans of the finest footballer on earth – Cristiano Ronaldo – just have to wait until the best arrives for him.
We need to witness two things by the end of this year: Ronaldo’ best form, and Ronaldo deservedly receiving the Ballon d’Or and the Fifa Player of the Year Award.
Cristiano Ronaldo played the full ninety minutes in Manchester United’s win over Blackburn on Saturday. The Superstar, who is regaining match fitness, received a knock in the head and suffered several pushes and bad challenges.. Surprisingly, he hardly benefited from the referee’s assistance and had a number of obvious free kick appeals turned down.
Nevertheless, he still had the opportunity to show himself up when he outstandingly set up Rooney, who scored Man United’s second and last goal of the game.
Ronaldo is still the man we all know – the intelligent, entertaining, and determined player that we love.
Finding back his tremendous form and clinching individual rewards are just a matter of time.
