Manchester United will miss Ronaldo – Lampard
11 August 2009
Frank Lampard
Take Ronaldo out of Manchester United between 2006 and 2009; well, it would have been 91 goals less for the Red Devils. During these three years, Manchester United clinched three EPL trophies,
the Carling Cup and the Champions League, the Fifa World Club Cup, and more.
The new season is about to start and the Red Devils are prepared to march on in quest of success. While some people believe that Ronaldo’s departure will not affect the English Premier League defending champions, others think like Chelsea’s Frank Lampard. Speaking to The Mirror, the midfielder commentated:
“Ronaldo is a huge loss. In losing him, they’ve taken 70-odd goals over two seasons out of the team.
“He won games single-handedly for United at times. You look across their team and they have fantastic players across the board. But they are going to miss Ronaldo. It is as simple as that.â€
Frank Lampard’s comment over the week-end completely opposes Patrice Evra’s statement. What about you? What are your thoughts about Lampard’s revelation? Will Manchester United miss Ronaldo?
