Fifaâ€s Player of the Year and Ballon dâ€Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, is expected to break more records when he gets officially presented as a Real Madrid player.

Nothing has been confirmed as yet concerning the financial agreements between Ronaldo and the Spanish Giants. However, fresh reports suggest that the Fifa Player of the Year will appear at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium for the first time with his new Real Madrid shirt on July 6.

25,000 fans are expected to attend the glamorous ceremony of Cristiano Ronaldoâ€s official unveiling as a Real Madrid player. This number beats by far the record set by Robinho when 11,000 fans went to the stadium to see him in 2005, on August, 26.

In addition, Cristiano Ronaldo might probably break Zinedine Zidanâ€s record for media attendance during an official reception. 400 accredited journalists attended the Algerian-born French legendâ€s official ceremony whereas an estimated number of 500 reporters from over 25 countries should be present when on July 6.

Reports claim that the Spanish Giants have already begun working on invitations. The ceremony is also said to start at 20:00 CET in order to suit the availability of day workers. Therefore, televisions channels will have the opportunity to cover the event from 21:00 CET in their late news.

Well, Robinho did leave Spain for England but he moved to the other side of Manchester rather than to the Bridge; but he will still have chances to prove that ‘he can be better than Ronaldo†as said by his agent, when they clash in the Manchester local derby.

But this will only happen on November 30th.

However, tonight, Ronaldo and Robinho have the opportunity of facing each other on the pitch much earlier.

Robinho, who is also an admirer of Cristiano Ronaldo, believes though that football is a team game and that anything can happen to a great player on any day.

Brazil are desperate to end their recent goal drought at home. While Robinho will fight to break this curse, Cristiano Ronaldo will want to lift up Portugalâ€s spirit by defeating the five times World Cup winners for the third consecutive time.

The young Brazilian forward Robinho is reportedly upset with Real Madrid and their apparent willingness to make him part of a deal to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Madrid.

Robinhoâ€s agent Vagner Rebeiro is quoted as saying that neither him or Robinho like the fact that he is being used as a “bargaining chip”, claiming the player has been “devalued” as a result. Robinhoâ€s ability on the field of play, according to his agent “ is better than or equal to Ronaldo”. However it seems Real do not have that same opinion.

While they wait around for Ronaldo, Robinho has been in contact through his agent with Chelsea with a view to a possible transfer. Chelsea manager Scolari seeâ€s Robinho as the right player to add that touch of flair that Chelsea owner Mr Abramovic clearly desires next season from his playing staff. Now he probably wishes he could have Ronaldo in his side! But money can’t buy everything.

According to The Times, a close friend have told that Cristiano Ronaldo will do whatever it takes to leave Manchester United for Real Madrid this summer.
