The Fastest Player In The World – It’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Football’s Usain Bolt!

Yes, he runs with the ball at the speed of light, he frightens and bypasses defenders with his dazzling moves, he flashes from one end of the field to the other in no time at all…

All these attributes make Cristiano “Rocket” Ronaldo the fastest man alive in the world of football according to Germany’s weekly magazine Der Spiegel.

The German study reveals that Cristiano Ronaldo clinches an average speed of 33,6 kilometers per hour while running with a ball at his feet during games.

In order words, the former Ballon d’Or and UEFA player of the Year winner is just a little less fast than his good buddy and sprinter, Usain Bolt, who ran at around 37,578 kilometers per hour (without a ball) in Berlin last summer.

Barcelona’s Lionel Messi did not make it in the top five fastest players on the planet. Instead, Arjen Robben, Theo Walcott, Wayne Rooney, and Robin Van Persie completed the list.

    I didn’t say that Messi have no football skills, but I said he didn’t come close w/ CR skills, which mean that for me, CR is way better than Messi. Besides, I thought this is Cristiano Ronaldo fans website and only, so as a fan of him, It’s fine to think that CR is better than his rival at. If his rival is Higuanin for example, I would say the exact same..no matter how good Higuain is. You should read on Messi fansite, you’ll find a lot of his fans judging how Ronaldo plays and his other bad stuff……Anyway, since ur also a fan of Ronaldo, it’s no use on having this argument. Cause I respect all lf his fans……..

    Maybe you should consider a different strength of your glasses then? Anyway, speed isn’t everything, speed doesn’t define how good a player is. I really doubt Ronaldo is faster than Aaron Lennon or Gabriel Agbonlahor, and neither is better than Ronaldo. Maybe Ronaldo is faster over a 100 metres than Messi, but in the first 10 metres I really doubt that he’s faster than Messi.

    Besides, knowing every trick in the book doesn’t mean you’re good. Would you call Lampard or Gerrard bad players? Or how about Zidane, the only trick he ever did was a pirouette, yet he had amazing football skills and was one of the best of alltime.

    Football skills are more than tricks, Messi has an amazing technique and is as fast with the ball as without, maybe even faster. Don’t get me wrong, I really like Ronaldo as a football player and I think both him and Messi are the best atm. But saying Messi has no football skills is just stupid.

    Well, Ur wrong Pablo!! I already knew how he looks from a magazines/newspaper couple years ago and it didn’t impress me. Oh, another latina hunky, big deal, thats what I thought at first. But when I saw him play for the first time, months later after that,(I used to hate football) just to companied my husband, I began to fall in love with football….till now, ..so u can say that I’m a newbie in this sport, but I do know that hes good.

    It means ur totally wrong to think that I like him for his looks only, its just another extra points for him. I like Ronaldinho too, and he’s not even good lookin, but I like his skills.
    I saw how Messi play. He’s small, it makes him as if hes fast, but hes not. Sure he can scores a lot, but can’t do tricks like Ron and moreover, hes not even in the top 5 of fastest football player !!!!Maybe not even top 10. I suggest that u should wear glasses, since I already wear one…..
